Tory supporters angered as asylum seekers get free trip to Rwanda

The British government has been rocked by further controversy, with supporters furious that asylum seekers will be enjoying free trips to Rwanda funded by tax-payers money.

The Rwanda Bill, which proposes sending all asylum seekers presenting to the UK to Rwanda, has proven hugely controversial due to human rights concerns.

However, Tory supporters have blasted the bill that will give asylum seekers all expenses paid jollies at top Rwandan resorts.

UK Post Office awarded capitalist organisation of the year by Forbes

In some much needed good news the UK Post Office has been named ‘Capitalist organisation of the year’ by Forbes magazine.

The Post Office is currently under fire for falsely convicting 900 postmasters for fraud due to a bug in their IT systems, in what has been described by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak as the “one of the greatest miscarriage of justice in UK history.”

However, Forbes has chosen to shine a spotlight on the positive side of the scandal.

King Charles battles pen as preparations for Queen’s funeral continue

As the UK continues to mourn Queen Elizabeth II, her successor King Charles III has been growing accustomed to his new role.

Monday brought the good news that Charles would be exempt from inheritance tax on the vast fortune he is being bequeathed. The monarch celebrated by putting staff at his Clarence House residence on notice for redundancy.
